Horseback Riding

See the West as it was meant to be seen, from a saddle! Ride through high mountain meadows, along beautiful streams and rivers, and enjoy stunning mountain views just outside Yellowstone National Park. Whether you’ve never ridden before or are a veteran horse owner, you will enjoy riding our gentle, sure-footed horses through incredible mountain scenery. We offer an introductory ride for our guests on Tuesday morning and then multiple riding options throughout the week.

Yellowstone Tours

Enjoy visiting America’s first national park with our experienced guides. They will share their knowledge of the area and do the driving, leaving you to sit back, relax and keep your eye out for that bear or buffalo that you've been hoping to see. We offer Yellowstone van tours on both Wednesday and Friday, viewing different areas of the Park on each excursion.

Everyone in the family will enjoy getting out on the water to slow down and enjoy seeing the Shoshone River from a whole new perspective on our Thursday afternoon float trip.

Breakfast & Dinner Rides

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to enjoy both a breakfast and a dinner ride with hearty Western fare served in Dutch ovens over the campfire. It is a taste of the Old West and a fun event for everyone.

Cody Nite Rodeo

Rodeo is the sport of cowboys. Watch these supreme athletes as they face off against bulls and broncs, and compete in barrel racing and roping, and more! It is a full evening of entertainment for the whole family.

Walk to outdoor adventures

Explore the beautiful trails surrounding the Lodge and get a little exercise with a guided hike. Explore the North Fork of the Shoshone River or Grinnell Creek, both within a short walk of the Lodge. Take along a fishing pole and try your luck with the local trout. We can help you purchase a fishing license online.

Nightly Entertainment

Don’t let the fun stop at dinnertime! With evening entertainment including learning to square dance, wagon rides, roping lessons, archery and hatchet throwing, and more, the fun never has to end. Or relax by the campfire and finish off your evening with a night cap, s’more, or both!

Fun for the Kiddos

We aim to provide adventures for families to make memories together! Kids ages 6 and up can participate in all activities along with their families, and many of our activities can be enjoyed by younger kids as well. We also provide babysitting during specific events for children ages 5 and under.
